Born in Transylvania and having spent many years in Spain, now London based photographer Cecilia Taylor is following her photographic career by exploring the identity of society and recording the dreams and desires of the clients she is commissioned by.

Admiring the work of Richard Avedon, David Bailey and Helmut Newton, Cecilia has a real passion for documentary fashion photography. By using a wide variety of settings and creating a plot and a story through the model's expressiveness, Cecilia specializes on location shoots. Her black & white portraits are timeless and introduce an emotional complexity that takes the viewer into a world beyond the image. Each portrait has its own uniqueness and although stylistically, the portraits and the fashion photos are alike, the story featured beyond them are very different and complex. Influenced by the two genre of music she loves, you can easily find traces of the flamenco passion and the soft mellow jazz tunes in many of her photographs.
